THE NOMNOMGRAM!
- The Quality of the food here is really good especially how I feel like pub style food is very 'ceebs life' and is just a meal to stuff into the tummy to be full. The presentation of the meals are on point and it's always cooked to perfection. The best thing about this place is that they have a great selection of "meals to share" and everything is easy to eat and great if you have munchies. The food is always fresh and doesn't take too long to serve. Every day they have specials e.g.: this beauty on the right here ----->
Tempura battered Snapper and Chips with Tartare and Lemon Aioli sauce
- The Service here is pretty good because everyone is really great and outgoing and you can always count on one of the bartenders to make a casual conversation with you which is great if you are feeling really shitty. They are really genuine and it's always great to have such great inconsistency with customer service. AND! They don't judge me when I order Pink Lemonade so thats definitely a bonus for meeeee
- The Pricing here is pretty standard, considering most of the food here are for sharing and lets be honest, if you're out with your girlies or your mates for drinks, you know you're going to be spending some sort of money. Most of the food here are around the $15 mark and the drinks are pretty standard. Its not exactly $3 schooners type of price but its got a great atmosphere and its affordable =)
- The Quantity of the food here is quite standard and it's not the type of place you would order chips or wedges by yourself, because you're just going to get full and feel shitty BUT! as I mentioned before, it's great for munchies and eating with others =) For the price, lets just say that the quantities are pretty good.
*** Side Notes
The Customs House Bar has actually recently been renovated and it's a food outlet part of the Marriott Hotel. One of the best things I love about this place is that there isn't any seedy drunk men trying to TURNT things up or get all personal up in your bubble. They have a lovely outdoor seating area which is perfect for summer nights and the place doesn't wretch of alcohol and other unpleasant smells. The main customers they get are business men and women who are up for after work drinks and catch up sesh's. I am honestly really impressed with the consistency of the food here and also the quality of the food because you know me and my love for consistency at places. Few of my favourite things here would be the pizza's (they have a pretty good range of flavours) and their chips are really good too! I ordered their Cajun Quail Skewers the other day and it was so tender and juicy and just AHH-mazing. If you are around Circular Quay, you should pop by and try it out ^_^ why not =)
