The Nomnomgram!

Quality: 4 nomnoms out of 5
Service: 3.5 nomnoms out of 5
Pricing: $$ (Drinks are $ and food is around $9-15)

  • The Quality of the food is pretty good, they do offer a range of different Vietnamese foods that you won't be able to get from other Vietnamese restaurants, which makes it really unique and awesomee! The food here is really clean, as in the ingredients are really fresh and you can see what you're eating. It's not exactly authentic Vietnamese food from Vietnam or Cabramatta haha so it's more a fusion between Western and Asian traditional foods.
  • The Customer Service is very friendly BUT! One thing that i think they can improve about this place is their calling system for when your meal is ready. They usually take your name down and they just yell out your name when the food is ready for pick up. It's not very effective especially when it's busy because they're just yelling names at everyone and it's noisy and cray cray! Other than that, you don't really communicate with the waitresses so its all good =)
  • The Pricing of the food is slightly more expensive than the normal Vietnamese restaurants you find in the smaller suburbs and in the CBD. For the quality of the food, its pretty good although $$ for a bowl of Beef noodle soup is quite pricey considering a bowl of Pho is usually $9 or so.
  • The Quantity of the meals are pretty small considering the price you pay but then again it is a Tuckshop so that way you can get more dishes and try more things! HORRAY FOR VARIETY! The quantity are just enough for a meal so you will be perfectly satisfied, which means… Desserts! =D WOOT!)

 *** Side notes

I've been here a few times and it's one of the best
Vietnamese restaurants in the Sydney CBD. They also
have various franchises in around the City such as
Manly, Bondi and etc. The food is always consistent and
it's also very clean which is one of the many things I
like about this place. Another thing that really stands
out at Miss Chu is that they have power plugs hanging
from their ceilings for people to charge their phones!

As I work in the Tourism Industry, travellers are
ALWAYS looking for places to charge their phones and
not just travellers but people in general because lets
be honest here, phone batteries don't last AT ALL.
So, You go Glen Coco

Camila. =)
